Brandon Romero joined us as the Vice President of Engineering three months ago. Since then, he has made a big impact on Tait’s operations and continues to be a pivotal team member.

With over 20 years of engineering and operation experience with critical communications systems, Brandon brings an extensive understanding of user needs and system sales strategy to the Tait organization. He has experience as a consultant, system & RF design engineer and engineering & operations leader in the Utilities and Public Safety markets.

When he’s not working, Brandon enjoys exercising, watching football, and being outdoors.

What’s one of the biggest misconceptions about engineers?

One of the biggest misconceptions I’ve noticed is that people think engineers are antisocial. Many engineers are very analytical so they typically analyze a situation or conversation before getting involved.

What Football team do you root for?

Green Bay Packers.

What’s your favorite outdoor activity?

Disc Golf.

If there was a subject you could study just for fun, what would it be?

Quantum Physics.

What is something you admired about Tait before starting here?

Company culture.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

My children are my motivators. I strive to make each day better than the last with the hopes that my children learn that they are in control of their life choices.

What would the title of your autobiography be?

Onion

What is one of your hidden talents?

I can make a mean gumbo.
