Tait Communications, a global leading supplier of critical communications solutions, is excited to showcase an interactive incident to evidence experience for attendees of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference and Exposition in Orlando, Florida, October 25-27, 2026.

Tait Communications is offering a hands-on technology showcase and hourly demonstrations of its future release Altitude Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS) at Booth 1481.

From Incident to Evidence with Open Standards

The Tait Communications booth will showcase how different components of the Tait open ecosystem work together and empower first responders at every stage of their duties.

Built on open standards, Tait’s adaptable solutions are designed to integrate with multi-vendor systems and devices. Customers are not locked in, not forced to upgrade, and not required to undergo a forklift replacement.

The IACP Experience

Based on a fictional case, an active investigation unfolds at the Tait Communications booth, allowing attendees to uncover evidence gathered through multiple technologies, such as dispatch, land mobile radio (LMR), and body-worn camera (BWC) footage, to reconstruct the case.

The experience will showcase a multi-technology open ecosystem of solutions. Tait Communications will also have live demonstrations highlighting how the company’s future evidence management tool will integrate video, voice and data from multiple sources to help solve crimes.

Industry Standards-Based Ecosystem

To help address the challenges that law enforcement agencies face every day, Tait Communications is building on its strong foundation of Tait Tough Project 25 (P25) land mobile radio networks and devices. The company is focused on integrating voice, video evidence, broadband and convergence, dispatch, software data and AI analytics, and professional services to meet the communications requirements of first responders.

The IACP booth will highlight field intelligence including next-generation dispatch capabilities, command and control, evidence management, situational awareness and AI insights. Important services such as fleet visibility and management, network design and implementation, and managed support will also be highlighted.

“Through its presence at IACP, Tait is reinforcing its commitment to open standards and converged mission-critical voice, broadband, and video technology,” said Maria Rowe, Tait Communications Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). “Our vision is a future where law enforcement agencies are not locked into proprietary solutions but instead have options to deploy cost-effective communications technology that addresses their requirements for daily activities and emergency incidents.”

The Future Is Open

Unlike proprietary systems that lock agencies in and limit choices, Tait Communications keeps public safety professionals in control. For law enforcement agencies, open technology is not just a technical feature. Open is what enables law enforcement agencies to make better, faster decisions, by connecting teams, information and technology. With Tait Communications, the future is open.
