Whistleblowing and Confidential Reporting
Introduction
At Tait we promote the highest standard of ethical and legal behavior through our policies, business practices and our conduct. Central to this is our commitment to promote and maintain a transparent and open culture to ensure that our employees and our customers, contractors, suppliers, partners or users of our products ('Stakeholders') are able to report in good faith any action or situation that breaches or could potentially breach Tait policies or any other legal obligation that Tait may have (Disclosure).
Whistleblowing and Confidential Reporting
Introduction
At Tait we are committed to conducting business with honesty and integrity and creating a culture of openness, accountability and trust. Central to this is our commitment to ensuring that every voice is heard and that our employees and our customers, contractors, suppliers, partners or users of our products (“Stakeholders”) are able to report good-faith genuine concerns relating to suspected wrongdoing or dangers in relation to Tait’s activities (“Disclosures”).
Purpose
At Tait we acknowledge that transparency and openness would not be possible without our Stakeholders having an ability to report any Disclosures in good faith and without fear of reprisal, retaliation or retribution. This policy sets out our process for notifying Tait of any concerns and the steps that we will take to investigate concerns. It is also our commitment to our Stakeholders on how we will handle a Disclosure.
Ethics and Reporting
Our Business Conduct and Code of Ethics Policy establishes the baseline expectations for our employees’ conduct and our Supplier Code of Conduct establishes the same for our supply chain.
Our Whistleblowing Policy encourages concerns to be raised using the relevant hotline whenever you wish to remain anonymous.
To support our commitment to a culture of integrity and trust, we have engaged Lighthouse Services (Mitratech) to provide a confidential, anonymous ethics and compliance hotline available to all employees and stakeholders, where concerns can be raised in good faith with confidence.
All investigations are conducted impartially by someone not connected to the issue reported, in accordance with principles of natural justice. Both Lighthouse Services and Tait work to protect your identity throughout the process, and your report will be handled by a designated person within Tait in line with our policies.
Reports may cover matters such as ethical violations, harassment, discrimination, fraud, conflicts of interest, theft, bribery, misuse of company property, and other breaches of law or company policy. This hotline is not intended for customer complaints or personal work-related grievances, which should be raised with your Tait representative or Employee Relations team respectively.
Lighthouse Services is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week:
