It’s tradeshow season, IWCE is very soon, and Tait Communications is making a strong impression at industry events around the world. Demonstrating the latest broadband solutions and multiband radios, we’re getting great feedback from dealers and customers alike.
BAPCO 2023
Tait staff from UK and Europe had a strong presence at the annual BAPCO conference and exhibition, held in Coventry England, 7-8 March. Tait Marketing Communications Manager for Europe, Margit Paul-Kientzl, says Tait’s stand was very busy. She thinks conference attendance wasn’t quite at pre-pandemic levels, but the crowds at the Tait stand were strong on both days.
“We had a lot of people wanting to speak about our fireground solutions so Richard Russell was very busy,” Margit says. “There was also good interest in the TAIT AXIOM Wearable device, people wanting to understand Tait’s approach to transitioning to broadband and we had some visitors who were interested in what we could do to provide in-shore mobile communications for maritime patrols.”
For this year’s conference, Tait hosted short visits by people who had signed up for specific-topic tours run by the conference organizer. “They were small groups who were with us for just a short time – we would give a five-minute presentation and there was some time for questions,” Margit says. “They were potential customers who may not otherwise have had a reason to visit our display.”
Technology partner omnitronics was alongside Tait and hard at work at BAPCO. They were the only dispatch solution supplier there and also saw strong traffic. Omnitronics dispatch solutions are designed to integrate natively with Tait products. Margit says Tait staff used the conference as an opportunity to spend more time with some of the integrators, such as Tait technology partners Telent and Radiocoms. Omnitronics has a great video on showcasing the integration of TAIT AXIOM Broadband Solutions and omnitronics dispatch.
Tait Australia Road Show

“It’s been great to reconnect with so many of our dealers this month,” says Anthony Blyth, Global Product Marketing Manager. “We appreciate our dealers spending their time with our team this month, especially those who travel to our events from other parts of Australia. It’s wonderful to hear the positive feedback about the importance of these events.”
