Tait Communications was proud to be recognized at the ICCA Critical Communications Awards held in Brussels. The event highlighted excellence across the industry, and Tait was honored to be featured in multiple categories.
Our European team, in collaboration with Zinkgruvan Mining AB, received a Highly Commended award for Best Use of Critical Communications in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mining Resources, Oil & Gas Exploration. The underground mining solution combines LMR and LTE to enhance productivity, automation, and autonomous vehicle operations. In 2024, the mine produced between 75,000 and 85,000 tons of zinc and 4,000 to 5,000 tons of copper, contributing 0.65% to global zinc production.
