Tait Communications has earned a reputation for providing instant, reliable communications to critical industries around the world. The new TP9500 and TP9600 offer an impressive set of features to continue that legacy.

Exceptional Audio

Loud, clear audio is vital to make sure important calls are heard the first time. These new radios feature an enhanced digital vocoder, digital noise suppression and dual-mic active noise cancellation for clear outgoing voice calls in noisy environments. A large, powerful speaker ensures incoming calls are heard. Watch a Tait digital noise suppression demo.

Connectivity Options

Tait embraces popular open standards for connectivity. These new portable radios are multi-mode capable.

  • The TP9500 functions in conventional analog, MPT, DMR Tier 2 and Tier 3, and shares the software features of our familiar TP9300 series.
  • The TP9600 functions in conventional analog, P25 Conventional, P25 Trunked Phase 1 and Phase 2, and shares the software features of the trusted TP9400 series.

Wirelessly update your radio fleet with WiFi capability, and connect to a great range of audio accessories via Bluetooth®. Integrate smart devices into your radio network with Tait TeamPTT.

Enhanced Worker Safety

Tait portable radios feature integrated GPS, for location services like Tait GeoFencing. A programmable emergency key can trigger an alert to dispatch that a worker is in trouble, along with his GPS location. Man Down and Lone Worker modes can trigger automatic alerts in hazardous situations.

Enhanced User Experience

These new radios feature a large, color screen, with options for light and dark environments and emergency alerts. The comfortable, ergonomically designed body has user friendly controls. Compatibility with the Tait Enable suit of management software takes the pain out of updating your radio fleet.

Built Tait Tough

The Tait TP9000 series is IP65 & IP68 rated, dust and waterproof. Shock absorbing corners protect the radio from impact, they exceed military standard drop tests. A cleverly designed water shedding grille quickly disperses water from the speaker, to maintain call quality. Watch Tait Tough radios take some punishment.

Tait TP9000 series portable radios share battery and charger systems and accessories, allowing them to fit seamlessly into existing fleets. Both TP9500 (DMR) and TP9600 (P25) radios are available in four-key and 16-key variants, in four frequency bands: 136-174MHz, 378-470MHz, 450-520MHz and 762-870MHz. Compliance has been achieved for North America, Europe and Australasia.
