The future is full of many exciting possibilities and we are excited to share them with our customers and partners.
Humble Beginnings
Tait is a homegrown New Zealand business that comes from humble beginnings that start with our founder, Sir Angus Tait. After returning to New Zealand after WWII, he put his experience and intuition into the company that would become Tait Electronics Ltd; that supplied a complete range of mobile radio equipment to over 160 countries. As Tait grew, Sir Angus rejected offers for his company and restructured it as a charitable trust, which now employs 100s of bright minds across the world. Sir Angus was dubbed ‘The giant oak of the New Zealand electronics industry’ and often said that “the best is yet to come”, a term that is used as wind in Tait’s sails to continue innovating and improving to this day.
